BFG started the way most good things do — a few friends, a couple of cameras, and a frustration with how isolating filmmaking can be.
We were tired of communities that felt more like networking events than workshops. Tired of gatekeeping. Tired of pretending the only path to making films was the expensive one.
So we made the room we wanted to be in: a grassroots gang of filmmakers who actually make films together. No hierarchy. No vibe tax. Just craft and collaboration.
